For the love
of the streets
In 2012, five photographers—Bart Koetsier, Eddy Bosland, Marc Driessen, Pepijn Hooimeijer, and Elmer van der Marel—shared a passion for street photography and founded the collective and website Amsterdam Streets.
The collective disbanded in 2015, but Elmer van der Marel, together with Niels Luigjes, continued running the Amsterdam Streets website, curating and showcasing work by other street photographers.
In 2025, Elmer van der Marel relaunches Amsterdam Streets with a renewed focus on his own street photography.
